In a country facing mounting health and economic challenges, promoting health awareness has become more urgent than
ever. Hence, motivated by the belief in the role of society in protecting its members, the “Primary and Secondary
Prevention and Health Awareness Program in Syria” project was launched as a community health initiative that seeks to
build a new health culture based on prevention, early detection, and community awareness.
The rates of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes are increasing year
after year in Syria, and many people lack an understanding of prevention
and regular check-ups. Our goal is to break this cycle and introduce the concept of “prevention is better than
cure” into every Syrian home.
The project works on two complementary axes:
🔷 Field
campaigns within Syrian provinces to provide awareness and early
detection.
🔷
Digital awareness content reaching every home through social
media and digital platforms.
We believe that health is a collective responsibility and that investing in
prevention is the first step towards an integrated national health system. The project contributes
to:
✔️ Reducing pressure on hospitals and the health sector.
✔️ Promoting a culture of early screening and individual health awareness.
✔️ Building a health database to aid future planning.
✔️ Supporting reconstruction efforts by improving quality of life.
