Charles Mohand Malek is a Syrian-French researcher and entrepreneur in the field of biotechnology. He holds a PhD in cancer cell biology and a Master’s degree in business administration.

He is currently the CEO of a German start-up developing a treatment for strokes. He has extensive academic experience in Europe, gained during decades of living and working in Cambridge, Berlin, and Lyon.

He previously founded the Syrian Researchers Organization before resigning from it, He currently chairs the board of directors of Syrian Technocrats, which he founded to support Syrian talent in the fields of technology and scientific research.
