Natalie Terzihan is a researcher specializing in epidemiology, health data management, and responsible innovation. She holds master’s degrees in nutrition and health and genetic epidemiology, as well as a dual PhD in genetic and pulmonary epidemiology from Erasmus University and Ghent University.
She is currently the director of Health Research Data Space in the Netherlands, where she leads the development of digital infrastructures to enable the responsible use of health data in research. She also serves as director and board member of the Epidemiology Department at Erasmus Medical Center. Her research and efforts focus on promoting inclusivity, transparency, and social responsibility in science and innovation.
